There is a sense of fear that surrounds the word “science” in our society. Science and politics often seem to be at odds, and we don’t always know who to believe. It is more difficult than ever to determine whether a source of information is reliable or free of bias. It is our hope that by making the experience of science available to everyone, we will begin to bridge the gaps that prevent many people from understanding the role science plays in our lives. It is more than simply knowledge about the world around us. Rather, it is a logical way of thinking that helps guide us to rational and informed decisions.

The important thing is to not stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.

— Albert Einstein
